▪ Kalo Pitchers ▪
Pitcher Index |
While the Kalo Shop produced many types of beautiful holloware objects, it excelled at making pitchers. Its paneled pitchers are probably the best known and most desirable, but the Shop's other forms were also striking. Some were bulbous, others were tapered or cylindrical. Some had ribs, others were smooth-sided. Most had looping square-section or round hollow handles, or thick curved or angled flat strap handles. There is a great degree of variation among these forms, but they are wonderfully designed and fabricated, and are the essence of Arts & Crafts metalcraft.
