Gallery 2 ▪ Forest Craft Guild

 

Pendant on chain, sterling silver, with boulder opal.  Triangular frame with large oval cabochon bezel-set boulder opal in iridescent red and green hues, with bead and wirework details in the upper corners and at the bottom, where the frame comes to a point.  Several upturned chased and cutout applied leaves on the sides to restrain the stone.  Paperclip chain with hook-and-eye fastener.  (This actual necklace appeared on page 100 in Grand Rapids Art Metalwork 1902-1918 / Marek).  1-3/16" H and 7/8" W on two-part chain 18" L.  Marked:  STERLING
