Gallery 2 ▪ Falick Novick

 

Tray, large round, with wide curving raised edge divided into four sections with small raised flutes.  Between the flutes is extensive, detailed repoussé work consisting of blossoms, leaves, and vines in a chased stippled field that is very reminiscent of Friedell's work.  Applied heavy wire to rim.  Very unusual.  18-1/4" W and 3/4" H.  STERLING / HANDWROUGHT / BY / F.
