Edward Oakes page3 -- Oakes, like many of his contemporaries, did not spend much money marketing his work.  A few craftspeople ran small advertisements in popular, upscale magazines such as The House Beautiful, but most relied on word of mouth and small, inexpensively produced catalogs.  A catalog of rings by Edward (and Gilbert) Oakes is shown here.
