Necklace, centering a large shield-shaped plaque with a cutout center in the shape of an inverted horseshoe and a curving top and bottom.  Inside and behind the horseshoe is an oval bezel-set coral stone.  On either side of the central plaque are applied chased and cutout roses with leaves and stems.  Below, suspended with a short paperclip chain, is a tear-shaped pearl drop with a cone-shaped silver setting.  On each side of the central plaque are two pairs (four total) of smaller curving rectangular plaques, each containing an oval bezel-set coral stone inside an oxidized cutout, and connected to other elements with short paperclip chains.  Above these is a longer paperclip chain.  Delicate and lovely.  A stunning piece.

Necklace, gold, with green stones (peridots?) and pearls on chain.  Centerpiece is shield-form gold frame with two applied gold leaves on each side at top with an open gold flower bud between them and floral vines descending to the bottom, all centering a light green faceted bezel-set stone, possibly a peridot.  Above this on each side is a ladder-like pair of gold chains with a free-standing bezel-set pearl and then another free-standing smaller light green faceted bezel-set stone above.  At the very bottom of the piece is a central drop made of a bezel-set pearl.  The pearls all have small applied leaves around the top of each bezel.  A paperclip style chain rises from the top green stone on each side.  Very pretty and delicate work in 14K.

Pendant, gold on chain. Shield form gold frame with Art Nouveau style applied gold work flowers and vines centering a large blister pearl with shades of green and pink.  Small central baroque pearl drop.  The "paperclip" style chain has an Art Nouveau gold work element flanking the pendant on either side completing the joinery.  Beautifully done with chased details.  Rare, early example in 14K.

Necklace / pendant, gold, on delicate original 14K paperclip chain, with bezel-set amethyst on shield-shaped background atop descending slender hourglass cutout form inside pointed oval frame.  Chain is attached at two loops at top of pendant.

KALO 14K

Necklace / pendant, on paperclip chain with lapis, square form with smaller square inside recessed frame.  Large vertical rectangular bale with two parallel cutouts and four applied beads below an oval link that holds both ends of the paperclip chain.  In the center is a large square flat blue bezel-set silver-flecked lapis stone with rounded corners.  At the bottom is a series of three staggered vertical bars that repeat the pattern from the top bale, and end in a small decoration with three balls in a clover shape.

Pendant, jade, with gold loop bale, on conforming gold paperclip chain.  Carved dark green figure in the form of a small primitive seated frog (or man), with a gold loop-shaped bale through a hole at the top of the head with the KALO mark.

KALO  14K

Necklace / pendant, silver, on delicate paperclip chain, with coral.  Arrowhead-shaped pendant with small T-shaped tabs at top, and very small pointed flange at bottom, centering an oval bezel-set coral cabochon stone in a recessed oxidized area.  Three-petal applied blossom with central bead above the stone, and small V-shaped cutout below it.  Small-scale paperclip chain attached to small loop at the top.  Replacement fastener. Very delicate and diminutive, as if for a child.

KALO STERLING

Necklace / pendant, on paperclip chain, with green stone.  Shield-shaped frame with wide edge and recessed area between the frame and bezel.  Two slight notches at the upper left and right corners beside small triangular cutouts, centering a green oval bezel-set stone.  Chain attaches to two holes near the notches.

Pendant:  1" H and 15/16" W

STERLING KALO

Necklace / pendant, on paperclip chain, with sodalite stone.  Long narrow oval frame with small recessed area between frame and bezel.  Bottom is slightly pointed and has three small cutouts following the curve of the stone, centering a very large mottled blue bezel-set sodalite stone.  Frame is open on the back.  Chain is connected to two small protruding loops at the upper left and right sides.

Pendant:  2-11/16" H and 1-1/16" W
